1. Cancellation Terms - Time window to cancel a Request without fee after mutual acceptance. After this period, a cancellation fee applies.
- The cancellation period refers to the time frame within which the supplier must update the pick-up release. If the supplier fails to do so within this period, the request will be automatically canceled.
- In such cases, the supplier must pay a fixed cancellation fee. However, if the negotiated cancellation fee is set to $0, no fee will be charged—only the request will be canceled.
- If the cancellation period is set to 0 days, it does not apply to pick-up release updates. In this case, the cancellation fee is only triggered if you cancel the deal after it has been accepted.
2. Build up Period - Time limit to pick up containers after the Supplier issues the pick-up order. If the containers are not picked up within this period, free days will start automatically from the next calendar day.
- The Build-up Period begins immediately after the supplier updates the pick-up release and serves as the window during which the buyer must collect the containers.
- If the pick-up is delayed beyond this period, free days (as defined in the contract) begin to count, which may lead to additional charges if the free days are exceeded.
- This period ensures that once a deal is confirmed and the release is issued, cargo movement proceeds without unnecessary delay, maintaining operational efficiency.
